Srushti deshmukh, in her third year of engineering is already beginning to study for UPSC. When she graduated she was unsure if she could be happy with her engineering job. She realized later the dream job she wanted was working in the civil service. She started to focus on it. The parents of her encouraged her to pursue civil rights and get a job serving the people. Her motivation was to be an IAS officer and was committed on that goal. In order for UPSC to be successful it is more work necessary. As she studied in her engineering courses, she used to also work on different subjects for UPSC. The exam preparation took up all day long. She studied for the engineering examinations in only one-and-ahalf months, avoiding social life. The reason she believes in focus and concentration are essential to pass the test to become a government official. She worked hard to achieve her dream to pass the test on her the first attempt. In order to stay up-to-date on recent events, she used to regularly read newspapers. Rajya Sabha TV, online resources and other study tools helped her. IAS Srushti Deskmukh IAS Srushti Deskmukh authored a second book that was called, The Answer Writing Manual. Every library in the country contains the book.
